This mount is very good. The quality is outstanding. Installation went as expected. We mounted a 55" TV over the fireplace for now. Eventually I'll be replacing with a 65" or 70". The mount was tedious to put together, but with past experience assembling TV mounts, it wasn't that hard. The diagrams were decent.
The mount is very substantial. I feel it is very secure.
Observation 1: The description for how to adjust the weight setting wasn't very clear. There are two bolts on the side that I wasn't sure what to do with. Turns out I didn't have to do anything with them, so I'm still not sure what their purpose is other than giving an indication of where the weight setting is set to.
Observation 2: We have a cement chimney stack. The diagram did not mention whether the drill diameter was different for a masonry drill bit.

This mount works great for our installation. We wanted to install a tv out on the patio, but only had two possible walls...both with windows. So this mount is installed just above one window...when watching tv, we pull it down over the window...when done we raise it back up and you can't even tell there's a tv up there...no blocked window!

Covered patio. TV had to be mounted above the windows. This mount allows use of the tv at reasonable viewing height and allows tv to be stored out of view from inside looking out the windows.

Grabbed this for our outdoor tv. Its not over a hearth but the pull down functionality is exactly what I was looking for to get the TV in view then out of the way, when not in use.

Product was mounted over a mantel anchored into the brick mortar. Was a little nervous about mounting into brick mortar. But used Tapcon achors, 4 on top of bracket and two on bottom and it worked very good. Wall mount functions as expected.

I didn't use it over a mantle. I just like that I can elevate the tv higher in my bedroom, so I can see the screen laying down. It works very well for that use.

I ordered the TV fireplace wall mount then told my neighbor who immediately asked me, where did you get it. So even before I got mine you had two orders coming to us. They both arrived two days earlier then scheduled. I told them not to install it until I did mine first. It took me approximately 4hrs to remove the old and install the new. Today I installed my neighbors mount and completed the job in 2 hrs. I’m very happy with the functionality of the mount and my neck loves it even more. This is a two man job I hung it my myself that’s why it took nearly 4 hrs. It’s well worth the money and is very well constructed. Happy Customer!

Mounted this bracket to a brick fireplace. Used Tapcon screws and it worked flawlessly.
