HDMI / DVI Combination Cables

HDMI / DVI can carry all standard and high-definition consumer electronics video formats. HDMI / DVI can also carry control and status information in both directions.

IMPORTANT: As DVI does NOT carry audio, an HDMI/DVI combination cable will ONLY carry the VIDEO portion of your high definition signal.  You will need audio cables to supplement any HDMI/DVI combination cable solution.

HDMI / DVI Cables are used in today's LCD, Plasma, Projection TV's, Digital Receivers (both Cable and Satellite), and some of the newer DVD players. Good HDMI / DVI cables are normally "double-shielded" to protect against outside interference and to prevent ghosting and signal loss.

Our HDMI-DVI cables are DVI-D Single Link (19pin).  All receivers, projectors, DVD players, and TV's now use DVI-D Single Link.
The ONLY known devices to require a dual-link DVI cable are Mac G5 computers, and "CinemaView" monitors.
