HDMI & DVI Extension Cables

HDMI and DVI Cables are used in today's LCD, Plasma, Projection TV's, Digital Receivers (both Cable and Satellite), and some of the newer DVD players. Good DVI cables are normally "double-shielded" to protect against outside interference and to prevent ghosting and signal loss.

Carefully determine the length of cable you will need.  Locate the DVI or HDMI connection points on both your receiver and TV, and measure (including any cable slack needed) the distance.  If your receiver is located in a Home-Theatre "stand", be sure to include enough length to have the cable properly run up the back of any cable harness or cable "tube".  In many instances, cables of this nature are ordered too short, and are eventually returned for a longer length.
