Yeah, it sounds like a stereotypical review, but Amazon would charge no less than $7 and I got this, including shipping for around $4 for a better product. It sounds great and works for what I needed. I have a pair of headphones that will not connect directly to my phone because the jack is too big to fit in the OtterBox port hole. I also wanted it for using headphones while gaming because otherwise the cord takes up a lot of mouse space. I am pleased to report it solves both problems and has good quality besides!
