I use a lot of USB cables for test and development. Different pieces of equipment come with standard 3 or 6 foot USB cables, which end up taking up a lot of bench space. Having a source of shorter cables lets me at least attempt to neaten my work space.

I order this 1.5 ft usb type-C to type-A cable for use in my truck because it's wired for USB in the seat fold down console between the seat and the shortest cable I could find was 3ft. to connect and use. in front is cup holders so you know whats in there weather tech. Great heavy duty cable.
