I have a laptop USB-C dock to make it convenient to plug everything in to - but it's really short (cables everywhere right next to my laptop) so I bought this to be able to place the unit 3 feet away (and out of the way). It was perfect to move that spider mess enough out of the way for comfort. Shipping was LIGHTNING fast. Not my first purchase here and every one has been the same perfect experience. I'll be back for more product for sure!

As I read over the internet usb-c and usb 2.0 DO NOT play nicely. But surprisingly, simply using the plug upside down solves the problem. Quality is excellent but I am disappointed that the 6' went out of stock and I had to settle for the 3'.
