This adapter fits tightly into the USB3 port of several different Samsung cell phones that I own. The adapter does not wiggle or slide out unexpectedly. It works for both charging and data transfer, as well as OTG devices. It is short enough so that it does not add appreciably to the overall length of the micro USB cable connector, so there is less chance of accidentally breaking it off.

Does the simple job it was built to do. The metal casing is designed to be quite slippery, however. I wish it had a plastic grip or case, as it does take a very firm pinch between two fingers to remove from a type C port.
