This product did exactly what it was designed to. It converted the CTIA jack on an Intel based laptop to the OMTP wiring.standard; reversing the second ground ring with the mic sleeve. Now the sleeve is ground to match pro grade audio gear, and the second ring is for the mic. For TRS wiring gear to work on TRRS plugs, jacks and cables; another adapter is required.

When I tried to connect my DVD player with RCA (R, W, Y) cable to my Vizio TV which only had a composite input, I got a distorted picture. Using this small adapter corrected the input and it works great now. It should be packaged with the RCA to Composite adapter from the start.

The cable works flawlessly. Only regret is a lack of strain relief on the molded connector pieces. I am using these to convert CTIA 3-RCA to TRRS cables to the OMTP standard in order to breakout the Creative Labs digital output of a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS/Audigy 2/Audigy 1 /Live 5.1 Digital into three S/PDIF signals. I then use a 3-RCA to HD15 cables to input these signals to a Extron MVX 88 which routes/duplicates the signal, sends it through a variety of processors or just straight to a set of three stereo Topping D30 digital to analog converters.

I have a dash cam with 3.5mm AV output that is not standard to what most cables sold in the US are wired for. This device enabled me to use that output for my monitor, without having to search for, or wire myself a special cable. Excellent device if you have a non standard output device.

I have a Harmon Kardon home theater that needs a video connection to the TV for the OSD to operate . My LG TV has a 3.5 mm plug to supply AV input and the FE-ADT-267 adapter needed the FE-4CT-CTIA-MF adapter to reverse Video and ground on the FE-ADT-267

Wii to Vizio smart TV . No RCA composite to HDMI conversion is needed if these cables are utilized. Wii RCA white to yellow and the small cable was necessary and all played well. Exceptionally clean video and audio.
