I use it for 2 things A) to hook up between cameras with strobe abilities so I can trigger them from a hot shoe remotely B) to connect audio between my Marshall Code 25 & 50 watt amps to sound boards or to connect MP3 players or phones to the amplifiers.

Used to extend headphone line. Good product if you know what to buy learned from YouTube about TRS and TRRS and how to tell them apart. WalMart was no help in this learning better info would help other who do not know.
