I used it to extend the length of my 3.5mm headphone cord so that it would fit into the jack on my new LG V60 dual screen case, which without the extender is too thick. This was exactly the product I was looking for and the piece seems to be of very good quality.

I have a LG V20 phone with quad DAC that has a high impedance mode which pumps more clean power to the headphones. If I plug this into the phone first and then my Sennheiser 660 high impedance phones the LG switches to high impedance mode. Now I can unplug the Sennheisers and plug in any low impedance phone but as long as the adapter is plugged in the phone will think it is a high impedance load.

I use this port extender to move the audio cable 90 degree elbow out away from the bluetooth reciever plugged in on the side of the laptop, so that the audio cable can have a clear path to go to my subwoofer and speakers. The extender's audio is great too!
