This cable is being used to light LED lamps that are used to illuminate the shelves of display cabinets. A thin cable was needed for installation and the connectors were used to provide a means to conveniently change out the lamps, should it become necessary.

My students cut this in half. The male end is used to make an adaptive switch for a child with a disability while the female end is used to make a battery interuptor so the child can turn on a battery operated toy.
