Just needed an extension chord for USB, to power up an LED tape light. Shorty chord on tape light, was not long enough. Did not need data or bandwith, just to power up the light; so this average general purpose extension, does the job nice.

I ordered these 6' patch cables to extend the little cables that come with the device. Since wall plugs are NEVER convenient, these cables are great. Additionally, I have three different plug configurations, so by buying these patch cords, I can interchange between devices without having to order multiple extra long cables to match the specific device. I bought extra to give as gifts. Great item!
