Avoid the hassle of going to a hardware store and hoping they have the right screws by purchasing this M8 TV mount bolt kit. This mini kit includes the bolts needed for MOST larger TVs ( greater than 50 inches): (8) Metric 8mm M8 bolts in 2 convenient lengths: (4) 30mm (1 1/8 inches) and (4) 50mm (2inches) for a total of 8 bolts. You typically will only need 4 bolts to safely attach the mount arms or plate to the back of a TV.
