This 33ft (10 meter) USB 2.0 Active Extension cable bursts beyond the 15ft range limit of standard USB cables. You no longer need to limit device placement due to the range limitations of short cables. This cable has a built in active repeater that assures signal integrity with no degredation. A Male to A Female connections.
TECH NOTE: A SHORT USB cable (1.5 or 3ft) can only be attached to the end of this extender for proper functionality. The extending of a USB cable is NOT compatible with ALL devices - such as certain hard drives that require specialize signal buffering. This cable is intended to be connected to a computer system (such as a Windows or Mac computer. The operating system in some cases will auto-install any require USB/hub drivers
