Installation Tip: Strip off 1/2inch of the insulation, shielding, AND dielectric (white insulation material) leaving just the solid copper core exposed. Attach the brass center connection pin to the copper core wire, and insert it through the female opening, through the small hole. Some force will be required to do this, until the brass pin is flush to the opening of the BNC connector. Now proceed to use the compression tool to tighten the connector to the outer insulation.
