Unlike other E-commerce sites, all sales are NOT final.
You may return an order (the entire order, or specific products from an
order) with 30 days from the invoice date for a full refund LESS
your shipping costs with no questions asked. There will be no
additional handling charges, or return charges. All products must
be in their original packaging and be otherwise "complete" and
undamaged. Products returned without their originally packaging
MAY be assessed a return charge if such lack of packaging deems the
product un-sellable.All returns MUST, however,
contact us first to obtain an RMA number.
Why so Cheap? One of the most frequent emails (and phone calls) we get is why are
your cables so "cheap" (we prefer the term "reasonably priced") compared
to other web-sites, or "big boxed" retail stores. Here is our
explanation:
We purchase our cables directly from
the manufacturer, or distributor in bulk, obtaining the best
possible price for a particular cable.
We ONLY sell cable and cable-related
products focusing on quality and price.
Packaging and marketing materials are secondary.
Before deciding to stock a
particular product, we send the product to an external testing
facility to make sure all manufacturer specifications are exactly as
described, paying particular special attention to "ohm" values,
gauge of wires, and overall product quality.
We use "OEM" packaging for most of
our cable products. Do you want to pay for fancy, expensive
packaging - or you do you want packaging that doesn't add cost to
your product?
Some websites make claims they their
cables cost most because you are getting more. Some offer
"free shipping" yet their products are clearly over-priced.
Once a cable (notably HDMI™ cables) have been certified, or are
compliant and received certification (where applicable), you will
obtain identical performance. Some will display a fancy
"resistance chart" claiming that their cables offer superior
performance compared to competitors. Again, these are
marketing tools to try to justify their MUCH higher prices.
Cables typically found at most "big
box retailers" have pricing agreements set by vendors whereby the
retailer MUST sell their products at certain minimum prices - often
resulting in 200-400% price markups. We refuse to sell
products that come with such agreements. Notice how quickly
after the salesperson sells you that expensive TV, he casually shows
you all the expensive cables you will need? Many retailers make
more money from accessory cables than the TV itself.
We offer an unconditional
return policy (see above), and a
lifetime warranty
(see below) on every cable product we sell.
Warranties All cable products come with a
limited lifetime warranty.
We will not, however, be responsible for any incidental damages caused
to any equipment. Physical damages to the cable not caused by
normal wear and tear will not be warranted. For example, a
physical "cut" or slice to a cable will be consider damage that will not
be covered by warranty.
If you have a cable
which has failed, please obtain an RMA number
and we will replace the defective product. Products returned
without a previously obtained RMA number will not be accepted for return
or credit. Our shipping department has been instructed to "return
to send" if the RMA number is not clearly shown on the OUTSIDE of the
package.
Within 30 Days of Invoice Date:
A cable that has failed within a 30 day
return period will be replaced with the same, equivalent, or better
quality cable. If we can not supply you with an immediate
replacement, we will refund your credit your account for the original
purchase price of the failed product in. Products returned to us
due to a failure must be (shipping) pre-paid, but within the 30 day return period,
we will also REFUND your shipping costs to return such a product to us.
After 30 Days of
Invoice Date:
A cable that has failed after the open 30 day
return period will be replaced with the same, equivalent, or better
quality cable. If we can not supply you with an immediate
replacement, we will credit your account for the original purchase price
of the failed product. Products returned to us must have their
shipping pre-paid.
Warranties for
other products (other than cables), unless explicitly stated, are 60 days. The
manufacturer of a product may offer an additional warranty. Please
contact the manufacturer in such cases.
